Letter Serial Correlation

Study of Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) in some Hebrew, Aramaic, Russian, and English texts Part 1. Measurements and calculations

The subject of this paper emerged as a side topic in the course of investigation of the Bible code controversy which largely deals with the so called ELS (Equidistant Letter Sequences) found in abundance in the Bible, as well as in any non-Biblical texts. While it is hard to indicate the direct connection of the above controversy to the effect described in this paper, the effect in question seems to be of interest in its own right, and, moreover, some connection to ELS, which is not obvious at this time, may well be found later.

Study of Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) in some Hebrew, Aramaic, Russian, and English texts Part 2. Experimental results - LSC in randomized texts

This is the second part of the report on the study of the Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) effect. In the first part the calculation of the expected correlation sums and expected correlation densities as well as the measurements of the actual correlation sums and densities were described in detail. In this part the experimental results are described obtained for random texts. In the third part the experimental results obtained with real semantically-meaningful texts are presented. In the fourth part the discussion and interpretation of the experimental data is offered.

Study of Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) in some Hebrew, Aramaic, Russian, and English texts Part 3. Experimental results - LSC in real meaningful texts

The first part of this article explained the calculations and measurements of the Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) effect in texts. The second part comprised the experimental results obtained with randomized texts thus providing reference data to be compared with the LSC in real semantically meaningful texts. This, third part of the report contains the results of the experiments with real meaningful texts in several languages. The fourth part offers discussion and interpretation of the experimental data.

Study of Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) in some Hebrew, Aramaic, Russian, and English texts Part 4. Discussion and interpretation of results

This part of the article contains the general discussion of the results of the study of the Letter Serial Correlation effect which were presented (and partially already discussed) in part 1, where the formulas for the analysis of the Letter Serial Correlation effect were derived and discussed, part 2, where the experimental data were presented (and partially discussed) for randomized texts, and part 3, where the experimental results for real meaningful texts were presented (and partially discussed).

Letter Serial Correlation in additional languages and various types of text Part 1: Experimental Data

In this paper the results of further studies of the Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) effect are reported, which were conducted for eight additional languages as well as for various types of texts, including texts obtained by various methods of permutation of a meaningful original text, and also artificially created texts with deliberately designed structures.

Letter Serial Correlation in additional languages and various types of text Part 2: Discussion of Experimental data

After describing LSC effects in eight more languages as well as in a number of artificially created texts with pre-designed structures, and in texts obtained by various means of permutation of a meaningful text, some additional data will be presented and a discussion of these data will be offered.

Application of the Letter Serial Correlation Test to the Voynich Manuscript. Part 1: Experimental Data

In this part, the basic experimental data obtained by applying Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) test to the Voynich manuscript (VMS) are shown.

Application of the Letter Serial Correlation Test to the Voynich Manuscript: Part 2: Discussion of Experimental Data and Possible Interpretation of Manuscript's Nature

In this part, the discussion of basic experimental data obtained by applying the Letter Serial Correlation (LSC) test to the Voynich manuscript (VMS) is presented, aimed at producing certain hypotheses in regard to the nature of the Voynich manuscript as a whole, and of its parts A and B.
